Shipping & Delivery

If your order is urgent, please contact us via info@eventcarpetsonline.co.uk before placing the order and we’ll help optimise shipping to ensure the quickest possible delivery.

Shipping Options
We offer two shipping options for most UK postcodes:

Standard Delivery

Processing Time: 1–2 working days.
Delivery Time: 3–5 working days from dispatch (location-dependent).
Couriers Used: Determined by the order and shipping option.

Express Delivery

Processing Time: 1 working day.
Delivery Time: 1-2 working days from dispatch (location-dependent).
Couriers Used: Determined by the order and shipping option.

Dispatch Times

Stocked Items: Dispatched the same day if ordered before 12:00 noon.
Non-Stocked Items: Usually dispatched within 7-10 days. We will contact you within 1 working day to provide an estimated dispatch date.

Shipping & Delivery Times Disclaimer

Delivery times are provided in good faith and are based on estimates from our courier partners. While we are proud to maintain a very high on-time delivery rate, please note that delivery times cannot be guaranteed as courier services are outsourced.

We appreciate your understanding and will do our utmost to assist you if your delivery is delayed beyond the estimated timeframe.

Delivery Charges

Shipping costs are calculated based on the weight, size, and delivery location of your order. To reduce shipping costs:

Place your order well in advance whenever possible.
Combine items into a single order.

For multiple-item orders, feel free to contact us before placing your order, and we’ll help optimise shipping to minimise costs.

Delivery Surcharges

Certain delivery postcodes might incur a surcharge. These areas might include Scottish Highlands, UK Islands, Northern Ireland and 'out of area' parts in England/Wales. For a cost, please contact us in advance of ordering or alternatively these costs will be calculated and invoiced separately after order.

Failed Delivery, Redelivery & Additional Charges

Customer Responsibilities
You are responsible for providing the correct delivery address and ensuring someone is available to accept delivery.
Failed Delivery / Return to Sender
If a delivery fails due to a customer-related issue (e.g. no one to accept delivery, wrong address, inaccessible property), the item may be returned to us. In that case, any costs the courier charges us for returning the item or storing it will be passed on to you.
Redelivery / Reshipment
We will contact you to arrange for redelivery. If redelivery is required due to a customer fault, you will be liable to cover the actual redelivery cost charged by the courier. Depending on the courier and the location, this cost may vary. We will inform you of the expected charge before arranging redelivery.
Estimates & Transparency
Where possible, we will provide you with an estimate of the additional cost for redelivery or return before proceeding. These charges are not a penalty, but are intended to cover costs we incur due to multiple delivery attempts or returns caused by circumstances within your control.
Exclusions
We do not charge redelivery or additional failed-delivery fees if the issue was caused by us (for example: we provided the wrong address, courier error, or the item was damaged in transit). If the courier fails to leave notice of attempted delivery in circumstances outside your control, we will handle that on a case‑by‑case basis.
Amendments to Orders
Once an item has been dispatched, address changes, delivery date adjustments, or other modifications that cause redelivery attempts may incur extra charges. We will tell you what the added cost will be before making changes.
